NIELSEN _ Arthur George was born in Antler, Saskatchewan, October 10, 1931 and passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Hospice, Burnaby, B.C. on August 4, 2007. He was predeceased by his loving wife Christine in December, 2005. He is survived by his sisters Mary Harrison and Flo Ewdal, sister-in-law Sella Driscoll, brother-in-law Wilf Benson (Ethel) and nieces, nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews. Arthur will be sadly missed by Bill and Margaret Waghom, Dennis and Doreen Reid along with many long-time friends. After graduation Art worked in Butedale, B.C. and made his career in the fishing industry. A big part of Art's life was his devotion to his church. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 11 at 2:00 pm at Killarney Park Lutheran Church, 3022 East 49th Avenue (at Kerr Street), Vancouver, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. We would like to thank the staff at St. Michael's Hospice for their loving care given to him. Arthur's ashes will be placed next to Christine's at Ocean View Cemetery at a later date.
